This is an international project in which Save the Children Lithuania, together with 17 partners across the European Union, strengthens systemic and inclusive child participation.

Objective: Not only to provide children with real opportunities to be heard, but also to create sustainable tools (a platform and a community) that support institutions in ensuring high-quality child participation.

Project Implementation in Lithuania

01
Completed

Child Participation Competence Centre

At this stage, the Competence Centre website was created – a space where key information about child participation in Lithuania is systematically presented in one place. The platform showcases the activities of Save the Children and other organisations, the Child Participation Cluster, methodologies, good practices, practical tools, news and events. It also includes an interactive map highlighting child participation mechanisms across municipalities.

Children’s Council

Renewal, recruitment and the first meetings of the Children’s Council. This is the driving force of the project. Members are already actively participating in trainings and planning project activities together with us.

04
Upcoming stage

Practical Implementation

Children will apply what they have learned in practice – pilot activities will take place in different regions, awareness campaigns will be developed, and ideas will be shared.
